Welcome to our New Youth Director!
We are excited to welcome our new Youth Director, Mushka Butman.
Mushka Butman recently completed a year of teacher's seminary in Tzfat, Israel and was a head counselor this summer in Pardes Chana girls' overnight camp in Canada (Laurentian Mountains north of Montreal). She was raised in Crown Heights, Brooklyn during the week and travels with the rest of her family to Northern Westchester County where they hold a Chabad minyan every Shabbat and chag. Mushka has gained tremendous experience leading children's programs there, and looks forward to a fabulous year with the youth in Chabad of Riverdale!
Chabad of Riverdale Youth Zone is alive and going strong, catering to children from toddlers to high school students. Our programs reinforce a love and appreciation of Judaism through fun and dynamic activities, and service a wide range of ages and interests. Join us for weekly Shabbat Junior Congregation, StoryTime, Aleph Champ, Release Time, Bat Mitzvah and Beyond Club, special holiday events, Shabbatons, and much more.
